This colorful photograph snapped by Jonathan on the North Island of New Zealand resembles Captain Kidd's hidden treasure chest - or it could be a jewel-filled window at Tiffany's! In my childhood, we used to go to 59 Street Beach in Ocean City, New Jersey to look for shells and 'beach diamonds' of all types. For as far as the eye could see, there were shimmering strands of this beauty. Today, sadly, most of that has disappeared along the Eastern Seaboard but Jonathan reminds us that it still exists somewhere else in the world. Enjoy.
