In nearly every election for Congress several candidates usually emerge that represent the best of the Democratic Party and great hope for America. Ahswin Madia from Minnesota's third Congressional District is just such a candidate. Ph2

If elections were won on just resumes alone, Madia would be serving in Congress hands down. His parents arrived in America from India with just $19 dollars in their pockets to pursue the classic American dream. Their son, Madia, became Student Body President of the University of Minnesota and then went on to New York University Law School. The prodigal son joined the United States Marines and served in Asia and Iraq as a legal advisor including briefing US Generals on rules of law in the conflicted region.

This returning Iraq veteran has become a champion of responsibly ending the Iraq War, fighting against the use of torture as a means to obtain information and protecting America's eroding civil liberties in a time of conflict. In addition, he fully and without question supports marriage equality and talks elegantly against discrimination of any type. Madia also is one of the leading advocates in the battle against global warming and for achieving alternative energy sources.

Ahswin has raised over a million dollars for his campaign so far with small contributions from all over America by supporters who are responding to this intelligent, charismatic and issue-based young man. Join them and contribute by just clicking here.
