By a massive margin, our readers loved Senator Barak Obama's Berlin Speech. An amazing 47% rated it the Berlin2_3 top possible rating of 'excellent' while another 24% called it 'good'. That makes a total of 71% who gave the speech the two highest ratings.

Only 14% thought the speech was poor and a measly 3% called it terrible. Guess words do make a difference to a lot of people. Clearly the performance inspired our readers not only because of the speech itself but also the impact it had throughout Europe. Many felt it was delightful to see an American leader greeted so warmly in Europe after nearly eight years of distrust of the United States and its policies.
