While in Mala, Mala, South Africa, Jonathan captured this young lioness with envy in her eyes! Jonathan writes, "This saucer-eyed lioness is scoping out her sister high above who had managed to climb a tree to an antelope left by a young male leopard. Tree climbing lions are very unusual as they are built for power, not finesse, and once high above the ground risk life and limb. Moments later, against her better instincts, and out of pure desperation, she too joined her sister in the high branches."
