Jonathan brilliantly captures the essence of this week's picture by turning to Buckminister Fuller. Here is what our resident photographer wrote:

"Bucky Fuller was fond of pointing out the importance of knowing how the Universe worked; that our actions on our spaceship/planet called Earth stood a chance of being in harmony with our host. He would note that the sun does not rise or set as we train our young to think of it, but rather the Earth is turning and so “clipsing” the sun as our spaceship turns. He liked to correct our language to describe thing as they are -- that being more aware of our world and how it worked might lead to human design and interaction that would be in harmony with nature. Ergo, he coined the terms, “Sun sight” and “Sun clipse”.
