Capitol Mixner Tweeters indicated that protesters, both in San Francisco and Washington, DC, have started "sit-in's" in the offices of Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The protesters are demanding a vote on ENDA. They have proclaimed they will stay put in the offices until action is taken or they are arrested. This follows closely on the heals of the White House arrests led by Lt. Dan Choi. Today's actions have been lead by the new national civil rights organization called"Get Equal"

Kip Williams, the CoChair of GetEqual, is leading the Washington Pelosi sit-ins. Robin McGeehee, his CoChair, was arrested in the White House protests. Williams was quoted as saying, "We demand that Nancy Pelosi show the same passion and leadership on ENDA as she has on healthcare reform."

Next week in Virginia, Get Equal is working with students to hold large protests on different campuses.
