-Well, my favorite poll of the year has come from Public Policy Polling. Republicans who smoke weed favor Sarah Palin. Those who have never had a joint cast their lot with Mike Huckabee! Let's all light up for Sarah!

-Vicki Kennedy has decided not to enter the race for United States Senate against Republican Senator Scott Brown in 2012. There is a far reaching interview with Ms. Kennedy in the Boston Globe.

-After supporting marriage equality, the Mexican Supreme Court has legalized adoption for same sex couples. Makes the good ole United States look like Neanderthals when it comes to marriage equality. Before you know it, Iran and North Korea will beat us to marriage equality.

-Another bizarre youtube.com entry is Morgan Tepsic who is 'jumping naked" around the world. Yep, you heard me. You can see good ole Morgan jump in the birthday suit in front of some of the world's great site. Bet you lived for this day to see this video!

-In the latest Rasmussen Poll (which has a tendency to favor Republicans), the race for United States Senate in Illinois is dead even with Democrat Giannoulias and Republican Kirk each at 40%.

-A record number of voters for last weeks davidmixner.com poll.  When asked how President Obama was doing on LGBT issues, 11% said Good/Excellent, 23% said Fair and an astounding 66% said poor/horrible!  One out of every four said horrible.

-Former Presidential candidate John Edwards has gone to court to seek a protective order and keep private all depositions regarding the sex tape with Rielle Hunter. Edwards claims Andrew and Cheri Young have used him for personal gain. The North Carolina soap opera continues. Wanna bet that sex tape makes it to the internet sooner than later?

-More and more of our animals are disappearing. The Guardian reports that the French has declared that beautiful brown bears in the Pyrenees are no longer able to sustain themselves. There are only 20 of the magnificent animals still roaming the mountains..

-The Empire State Pride Agenda is gearing up for its huge fall dinner in New York City. This year it will be held on October 14 and be headlined by Sarah Jessica Parker and debonair Andy Cohen. -Looks like Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper is well positioned to hold the Governor's seat for Dems this year. In the latest Public Policy Polling, Hickenlooper had 48%, Independent Tom Tancredo has 23% and Republican Dan Maes is third at 22%.

-San Francisco's CBS 5 Poll in California has US Senator Barbara Boxer trailing her Republican opponent Carly Fiorina by 5%. The same poll showed those forces wanting to legalize and tax marijuania leading on Proposition 19 by 10%!

-PinkPaper.com says their poll shows an overwhelming number of Brit gays who want to elevate their civil union to marriage equality. Yet another example of civil unions not being the same as marriage. A whopping 89% of the British LGBT community thinks denying full marriage equality is a form of apartheid.
