GQ.com has released their "50 Most Powerful People in Washington" list and among the names is openly gay White House Social Secretary Jeremy Bernard. He is both the first male and member of the LGBT community ever to serve as Social Secretary. Bernard keeps company on a list that includes such illumanaries as NBC's Chuck Todd, Republican Eric Cantor, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, CIA Director David Petraeus and others.

The history making White House Social Secretary Bernard was Number 44 on the prestigous list. GQ.com, who said Bernard was both 'cool' and had serious access, wrote:

The first man to hold this position, Bernard oversees all social functions at the White House, from the President's Passover Seder to giant State dinners. There's actually a lot riding on this job—just ask Desirée Rogers
