Already tornados are hitting Oklahoma this evening. Norman, Oklahoma has been hit and there are damage and at least ten injured. This is just the beginning. For only the second time in its history, the Storm Predication Center has issued a "High Risk" forecast a day before the event. All the ingredients are in place for large, severe and long on the ground tornados. Cities such as Omaha, Wichita, Oklahoma City, Kansas City and others are in the line of fire.
Dr. Steve Forbes of the Weather Channel has given a "TorCon 8" for sections of the area. That means there is an 80% chance of a severe tornado hitting within fifty miles of you. The peak of the storms should be Saturday afternoon into Saturday night. Kansas and Oklahoma could start seeing really bad storms after midnight this evening.
