The wealthy and powerful have too much time on their hands. The latest to wash those hands in elephant blood is King Juan Carlos of Spain. The 74 year old royal's elephant hunting trip came to light after the monarch was injured on the trip.

Evoking the spirit of the Trump Brothers, the King didn't stop with the elephant but also shot two water buffalos. Elephants are being slaughtered over Africa. Recently in Cameroon half a park's population was killed in three months. Apparently, the message to poor people is that it is alright to kill precious wildlife if you are rich.

The King traveling in Botswana paid $15,000 in order to have an 'elephant kill'. There was no word on what the 'going rate' is for killing a water buffalo.
