Curbed.com is reporting that the most expensive house in San Francisco is now listed at thirty million dollars. Here is there report:

The Skinny: After spending almost a year lurking in the shadows as a pocket listing, San Francisco's most expensive home, a 13,500-square-foot Victorian behemoth owned by former Pacific Stock Exchange chairman Doug Engmann, finally appeared on MLS yesterday with an asking price of $30M. Engmann purchased the property in 1983 and oversaw a renovation that filled the 22-room mansion with chandeliers, four fireplaces, a couple of murals, and a very impressive solarium with a koi pond. The outdoor spaces are just as fun, if not more so, with multiple decks, lawns, a sunken garden that was once used as a volleyball court, and a gazebo. Engmann has boasted that the house can "easily accommodate 500 guests."
